Necrómano is the current champion. He defeated Montoya on December 1, 2013 in Coliseo Aldo Chamochumbi of Magdalena, Lima, Peru.

History of Championship

GeneraXión Lucha Libre and Lucha En Vivo, both promotions of Peru, held a tournament of Latin American wrestlers from December 11 to December 14, 2008 and awarded the winner with the GLL Hatun Auqui Latin American Championship. Ultimo Chingon (Mexico) defeats Apocalipsis (Peru) and Kuervo (Ecuador) to became the first champion.
