Nicknamed "Wampi" (a sort of diminutive of Vampiress) she was nicknamed like that because when she attended high school, she did a research project about vampirism.  Sometime later she learned that the word wampi was a term given to a group of study during the times of Vlad Dracula.  Her ring name was given by her trainers, she felt identified with the name.
