As with Generación 2011 the year prior, Generación 2012 is a class of wrestlers all debuting in CMLL around the same time. They're not a unit, but were introduced together as new luchadors with great promise. The group was officially presented in mid August 2012, but some had debuted in the weeks prior and some would still wait a few weeks to debut.
All are trainees of El Hijo Del Gladiador.
