He was born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico on June 28, 1946. He was said have debuted in 1972, though some sources say he debuted in 1971. He wrestled for CMLL and was paired up with [[Anibal]] early on as the two wore similar blue and white masks. The two feuded with [[Karloff Lagarde]] and [[Rene Guajardo]].
