A native of Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, began as a promoter of wrestling in Hermosillo, Sonora in the year 1998, founded "Soto Ramirez Promotions company", promoting wrestling and professional boxing functions.
In 2009, he moved to Mexico City and formed EAW, which promotes shows based around it's two level ring. Soto says he owns the patent on the concept.
