Mr. Tempest was trained by Raul Romero, one of the most prominent wrestling trainers of México and Chico Casasola who besides of being his Trainer was also an inspiration for him.

On 1968, Mr. Tempest made his debut in a Tag Team Match against Kirvan Kid, and Scorpio in Monterrey.
