Nacho Libre is a 2006 United States fictional movie about a Mexican priest who secretly moonlights as a luchadore (played by Jack Black) to save his orphange. The concept is borrowed from the life of Fray Tormenta, but those involved in the move have not yet meet Tormenta.
Some scenes for the movie were shot in Arena Naucalpan, IWRG's home arena, and local luchadores were used. Silver King has also been mentioned as helping co-ordinate the lucha aspects of the film as well as playing the part of the main rúdo Ramses. He's since used the Ramses identity in matches. Many wrestlers have also used the masked Nacho Libre character, often presenting themselves as the 'real' wrestler the movie was based on.
