- He was an avid wrestling fan. His first approach to practice this sport was when he met Bobby Martinez when he saw training a group. He did not miss any day of training.
- During his wrestling career he defended successfully his mask in over 18 cage matches.
- During his career he had trained new talent in Mexicali.
- Angel Diablo retired on June 13, 2009 in Arena Nacionalista.
- On October 25, 2015 Angel Diablo wagered his mask once more in a Jaula de La Muerte match in Arena Nacionalista where he saved his mask.
- On October 7, 2016 he made another comeback in Arena Nacionalista's Jaula de la Muerte saving his mask for the 20th time in this kind of match.

- On January 27, 1993 Angel Diablo won the Arena Coliseo Cup.
