Javi first appeared in AAA as part of Los Kumbia Kids. After the group was pared down, Javi was one half of the tag team with Jesse. This didn't get much more attention TV, and Javi continued his barely-seen opening card tecnico role as a member of Los Nuevo Barrio Boys.
