Lucha Libre Connection

On August 21, 1983, Blanchard competed in the 18-man Battle Royal for the AWWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship in the event Tercera Dimension at Estadio Azteca. He reached the final for the title losing against Cesar Valentino with Lou Thesz as the guest referee.
