Bio

Born in Mexico City, moved to El Paso when he was young and became a big wrestling fan. Answered an opening tryout in Arena Mexico in 1933, where they'd be trained by a Profesor Avendano (Gonzalo Avendano?) After a year and a half of training, the surving ones were Bonales, Gilberto Gomez, Hector Lopez, and Luis Mariscal. Won the lightweight title in 1942, got married and lost the title in 1943. Finished runner up in a tournament for the vacant welterweight title in the same year. Somehow got onto EMLL's "lista negra", disappeared from Arena Mexico and worked in small arenas for a time before moving to the United States with a group of others. Returned to Mexico as part of the Televicentro promotion until it fell apart in 1952. Toured around Mexico after while eventually becoming part of the wrestling union.
