Controversy

Billed from Mexico City, lost the mask to local wrestler Centellita de Oro on January 1, 2024 in Arena Coliseo San Ramón in the finals of a cage match. There were several irregularities around this event. First, the Arena Coliseo San Ramón released the results about two weeks later. They uploaded pictures and the full video of the match. Second, there was a noticable resemblance in her mask design to the one of La Hiedra. Denisse went viral when La Hiedra posted her point of view about a the wrestler who ripped off her mask design along with a couple of pictures. Arena Coliseo San Ramón delete everything related with their event. It is not clear if this wrestler goes under another gimmick or if the name she gave is her real name. The fandom, several Lucha Libre media and YouTubers heavyly criticed Denisse.
