After a successful career as "Rey Cometa" in Santiago de Querétaro, he joined forces with his brother, Furia Dorada, and they were presented by promotores as the "Dragones" (In Santiago de Querétaro, most of the teams are named after Dragones and Cometas). That's how the "Dragones de Oriente" franchise was born. One of their students asked for the "Rey Cometa" name, and the now Dragón de Oriente I decided that the best student in their class was going to have the name as a gift. The now Rey Cometa was evidently the best student, and he was awarded with the name, which he has taken to the now Fuerza Aérea in AAA/PAPSA promotions, and then the Dragones de Oriente Tag Team was born along with Dragón de Oriente II (ex-Furia Dorada).
