Dragon Azteca was born in Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico. His brothers have also been luchadors, Garra de Tigre & Phoenix Azteca. Dragon Azteca was a big fan of wrestling growing up, especially Eddie Guerrero.

He started greco-roman wrestling at Akins High School, Austin, Texas in his freshman year, ultimately winning 2nd place in a state tournament. Dragon Azteca debuted in a tag team match partnering with wings in MLLM (Austin tx) then wrestled in both Texas and Arkansas before leaving MLLM due to injury and person issues.

Five months later, Dragon Azteca debuted for UWF Laredo promotions. Azteca won the cruiserweight championship at the age of 16, by defeating Mr. Drakus in a best of three falls match. Dragon Azteca held championship for 7 months before losing the title to Dark Energy after interference by Drakus.

Dragon azteca now joining a new company after Laredo Promotions ending. Dragon Azteca moved to the company at houston texas called "JWP" (jaivos wrestling promotions) and with the doors open for new goals to accomplish. and also recently debuting in San Antonio Texas in the company called "TWF" (Texas Wrestling Federation) wrestling against Baciccia on November 19,2010

HOW DID THE NAME DRAGON AZTECA WAS BORN? The name Dragon Azteca comes from combining his Azteca and Chinese heritage.

Dragon Azteca nació en Salamanca, Guanajuato, México. Sus hermanos también han sido Luchadores, Garra de Tigre y Phoenix Azteca. Dragon Azteca era un gran fan de la lucha libre al crecer, especialmente fanatico de su luchador favorito Eddie Guerrero.

Comenzó la lucha greco-romana en secundaria Akins, Austin, Texas en su primer año, en última instancia, ganar 2 º lugar en un torneo estatal. Dragon Azteca debuto en una lucha de parejas haciendo pareja de wings en la MLLM (Austin,Tx) y luchado tanto en Texas y Arkansas antes de salir de MLLM debido a problemas de lesiones y personales.
