Hayabusa finished his carrer at the promotion FMW in 2001, trying to do a moonsault fall to the ring and break his neck, after went to hospital and wake-up later one year, since then, he can't walk, currently he sings.He currently is also employ in the Dragon Gate promotion helping youngsters in their ring work from his wheel chair and for the matches he had in ECW and FMW he is consider a young legend and is respected as one in Japan.
Hayabusa's career ended in 2001 due to landing on his neck during a moonsault. Hayabusa was left paralyzed due to the injury. He's respected throughout the industry for his career and its unfortunate end. Hayabusa was also a singer.
