Julio Quiroga was one of greatest wrestler that have emerged in Ciudad Juárez, Quiroga wrestled in U.S.A and Canada, is one of the first mexican to confront to americans wrestlers in Juarez & U.S.A, and one of the first referees rudos of the history along with the great Davis and El tirantes. He was known for his skill in drawing heel heat for himself and his wrestlers.

Also Quiroga was a pioneer of the Steel Cage match and "luchas callejeras" (Street Fight match AKA in WWE like No Holds Barred match) once defeated Gori Guerrero (he most long-time rival of Quiroga) in this style.
