Julio Quiroga was one of greatest wrestler that have emerged in Ciudad Juárez, Quiroga wrestled in USA and Canada, is one of the first Mexicans to confront to American wrestlers in Juarez & USA, and one of the first referees rudos of the history along with the Gran Davis and El Tirantes. He was known for his skill in drawing heel heat for himself and his wrestlers.

Also Quiroga was a pioneer of the Steel Cage match and "luchas callejeras" (Street Fight match AKA in WWE like No Holds Barred match) once defeated Gori Guerrero (he most long-time rival of Quiroga) in this style.

Quiroga have matches against Chirs Colt & Ron Dupree "Los Comancheros" (with Ben Justice in a legendary bloodiest feud in Arizona), Dory Funk Jr.,Oscar Salazar, Juan Garcia, Bob Hamby, El Chivo, Jimmy Ballard, Paul Harrison, Lucky Lucas, El Cobarde, Cesar Silva, Espanto I, Espanto II, Espanto III, Espectro II, Gori Guerrero, Rayo de Jalisco, Mil Mascaras, Flama Roja, Rocky Star, Dragon Chino, Cinta de Oro and other stars.

After retiring from wrestling, Quiroga still working as a heel ref and manager (like the wrestling american style) of Flama Roja, Legionario, Vikingo, Crazy 32 & 33, and more.

As a manager, Quiroga always was one of the most hated men, often the most hated man. Quiroga once had a famous feuds with Eddie Guerrero while managing Ari Romero. Quiroga instead became Konnan's manager for his feud with Eddie Guerrero and later with Gacela del Ring for his feud with El Hijo del Santo.

Quiroga passed away December 2, 2011 in Juarez.
