From November 2002 to March 2003 he picked up a couple of trios wins and a singles win in the [[Guapos U]] competition over Caballero. He was defeated by [[Loco Max]] on January 31st, 2003 and then defeated by [[Tony Rivera]] on February 4th, 2003 in the Guapos U competition.
