His interest for lucha libre began since he was 10 years old. He worked as shoeshine boy and one day he went to the Arena Coliseo and he watched El Espanto & Black Shadow against El Santo & Rolando Vera who would become his first maesteo. Since that day he had the illusion to become a luchador.
