Mogur is one of the few men to have wrestled in the main event of back-to-back [[CMLL Anniversario|CMLL anniversary]] shows. He trained under Pedro Anguiano with [[El Dandy]] and [[Javier Cruz|Javier "Monarca" Cruz]], and like those two he had a good set of technical skills to rely on throughout his career. After wrestling as Olimpico Flores in his early years, he was given a mask and the name Mogur in early June 1984.
