The NGX Extreme Championship is a professional wrestling hardcore championship promoted by Nueva Generación Xtrema (NGX) in Monterrey. It was established in 2005.

Current Champion

Psicotico is the current champion. He defeated Core on March 30, 2019 in Arena Femenil, Monterrey, Nuevo León to win the vacant title.

History of Championship

The title was established on October 8, 2005 during the 2005 NGX King of Deathmatch. Kaientai became the first champion by defeating Joe Lider in the finals of the tournament. The title remained inactive after May 31, 2008 when second champion Extreme Tiger did his last defense over Insane and Kaientai before he began to compete for AAA. On November 10, 2012 during a NGX event, the NGX's promoter Humberto Arellanes announced the card to NGX 10th Anniversary Show. The card incluided Extreme Tiger defending the NGX Extreme Title against Dralion, and Erick Snake in his return to the promotion after leaving AAA some days before.

On December 1, 2018 after a sucessfull title defense against Psicotico, Pagano relinquished the championship. He claimed that due to his current contract with AAA, it's to hard to defend the title on independent events, so he gave the promotion the opportunity to crown a new champion in the following shows.
