Rey Panther was a lucha libre fan and learned this sport by attending different trainings with his brother [[Supervivencia|Monster Clown]]. He received support from his first maestro, [[El Campesino]]; then he would be guided from other prominent trainers. Made his debut on 1987 in an small arena in  Tepeji del Río de Ocampo, Hidalgo.
