The Spinebuster is a move perfected by Arn Anderson in which an Irish whip to the ropes is done to an opponent then as they rebound off the ropes the opponent is caught, lifted up, spun and dropped on the mat. It can also be done to an opponent standing without the Irish whip or as a counter to an opponent running towards you. A variation can be done without the spin by catching the opponent, lifting them and immediately dropping them to the mat. There's also a variation that drops the opponent into a sitout called the Sky High. Another variation is a version that the attacker lifts the opponent up out of a piledriver reversal before slamming the opponent onto the mat. This variation is called both the Waterwheel Drop and the Alabama Slam.
