Has this wrestler worked in lucha promotions? If so, you need to add that to the profile or we'll have to remove it. --thecubsfan 22:46, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

This comment is really related to this profile per se but is their some huge hispanic population in Colorado? or are these "luchadores" & lucha promotions just using it as a buzz word like "strong style" was used in the early 2000's to describe a wrestler & promotion?

As per this profile, except for working with Mascarita (which doesn't really warrant having a profile) I see no lucha connection. If and when he actually works Arena Azteca I could see the add but until then...--Flashmagic 20:08, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

It's a honest concern; there's the Richmond Lucha Libre group that's a normal US indy group with a couple masks and an occasional lucha libre trope. We don't do CHIAKRA guys for only being in CHIKARA because it's a self-admitted fusion of a lot of different styles. And also, the headaches increase exponentially the more US indy guys we add; the wiki ends up with a lot of profiles like...well, this one, actually. Bios of guy with very loose connections to lucha libre might be nice for the guy, but are about the 10,001st most interesting articles you can add to this wiki. I'd much rather see, for instance, people expand an existing article than add a new one like this, but this digression doesn't really help with the question.

I believe the Colorado story is there was a lucha libre promotion (or maybe promotions) around for a few years, then a more recent luchador form Mexico ended up in the area long enough to train some people and the groups that exist now were spurred from that. The major group was IWF, and included our friend Quantum (who seems to be responsible for many of the related profiles) - articles mentioning the promotion here and here tend to mention him, since he was a high schooler who was wrestling, and also the son of the head trainer.

Prodigee worked for the IWF and those shows, and appears trained by a luchador, but describes himself as a hardcore/old school US style wrestler. That doesn't quite seem enough. The entirety of the bio is focusing on his legitimacy as a US indy pro wrestler with very little attention to lucha libre, which always comes off as a sign someone's just using the wiki to just to promote themselves.. I'm going to remove this one for now. It's only a couple clicks to put this all back up if there's better info or if he does turn up working with Oriental and the rest of the Morenos. I hope he does. --Thecubsfan 00:03, 4 January 2012 (UTC)

But if we do add it back, can we get a profile picture that doesn't have his name spelled differently than the rest of the page? That was weird. --Thecubsfan 00:05, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
