Villano I, born José de Jesús Díaz Mendoza, was the first of the five Villano brothers and was the son of lucha legend, Ray Mendoza. He began wresting in 1969 along with his brother Villano II. He spent most of his 20+ year career as trios wrestler with his brothers in the UWA. On October 21st, 1988, he and his brothers Villano IV and Villano V captured the masks of Los Brazos in one of the most famous matches in lucha libre history. He semi-retired in 1993 and passed away on January 4th, 2001.
