Like many UWA championships, this championship has floated around the world since the promotion's demise. It was a Puerto Rico based championship for some years. On [[January 30]], [[2014]], it was announced that [[Japan|Japanese]] promotion Tenryu Project acquired the rights of the belt. The championship transferred to Pro Wrestling Heat Up after Tenryu Project closed, and is most recently seen in FREEDOMS.
