Virus' debut as a professional wrestler was on April 20 of 1986 for Carlos Maynes' UWA as Bird Boy I (there was also a Bird Boy II). He was trained by Fuerza Aerea and despite his size he knew he'd make it like his idol Super Astro.

He was mostly used as a first or second match attraction at the small arena's because he was good but very small. On July 27, 1991 he captured the UWA Featherweight Title by defeating Super Archie at Arena Apatlaco, and lost it on August 25 of the following year against El Coralillo at Arena Ecatepec. He held it during more than a full year though only had two defenses.

It's not like in the UWA, that was falling apart, had any plans for the title as evidenced by the fact that Coralillo never lost the title. He just lost it because he had already left the promotion to join EMLL's minis division that was having a hot moment.

In EMLL, Pirata Morgan offered him to be his "mini" version after the original one left for AAA so he became Piratita Morgan. His actual debut with that name was on August 7, 1992 at La Arena Coliseo from Guadalajara, Jalisco.

When Pirata Morgan left for AAA there was little point of having a mini version of a guy that wasn't in the promotion, so he switched to Ultratumbita until Damian El Guerrero offered him the name in 1994.

In 1995 he went to Japan to work for the independent promotion W*ING and there he was called Damiancito and was the mini version of Damian 666, who was a fairly known luchador on the independent scene due to his work for FMW.

On February 27, 1996 he captured the CMLL Mini Estrellas Title from Mascarita Mágica. He defended it against Ultimo Dragoncito, Cicloncito Ramírez and Mascarita himself, and dropped it to Dragoncito in October 1999 at Arena Puebla.

Damiancito especially had a classic match on January 7, 1997 at Arena Coliseo when he defeated Cicloncito Ramírez to retain the CMLL Minis title. After the match the wrestlers got a huge ovation. This was the match that made Cicloncito stand out from the rest of the mini wrestlers as a super worker.

In the last Arena Coliseo show of 1997 there was an eight minis elimination match in which the winner would get the right to wrestle in a regular tag match with the "big guys". Damiancito won that match, that also featured Tritoncito, Cicloncito Ramírez, Pequeño Cochisse, Platita, Guerrerito del Futuro, Pequeño Sayama and Fierito. He got his try-out as promised, but as he is not a midget and he worked so well with the big guys because he's such a good worker, he moved on to the full sized wrestlers division.

Since there was no point of being a "-cito" now that he was not wrestling minis anymore, he changed his name to Virus in May of 1998. A friend of him came up with the name while they were working out.

During that month, and after debuting as Virus, he wrestled as Damiancito again, but just a couple more shots until the name change was made "official" on TV.

That same month he also captured the National Lightweight Title defeating a Guadalajara local called Akira in a match for the vacant belt. He started a feud with Oriental and defended the title numerous times against him. They also feuded over the Distrito Federal Lightweight Title that Oriental held.

Virus is also a regular in the Japanese tours of CMLL, and he has also competed in Super Delfin's Osaka Pro. On Christmas of 1999 he defeated Masato Yakushiji to capture the CMLL Japan Super Lightweight Title that he lost to Ricky Marvin on August 6, 2000.

Nowadays Virus is a top-25 worker in Mexico, and he keeps improving thanks to the weekly training with the Grupo Cibernetico commanded by Negro Casas and Guillermo "Memo" Díaz. Due to size he'll never be a major player in the company, though he's an excellent asset to EMLL due to his amazing ability to carry any opponent through the spots or get the best out of flashy tecnicos.
