World Wrestling Association

Was a lucha libre promotion based in the Tijuana-area of Mexico promoted by Benjamin Mora. It featured Mexico's best luchadores at the time such as Rey Misterio, Hijo del Santo, Eddie Guerrero, Perro Aguayo, Fishman, Mano Negra, Súper Astro, Mil Máscaras, etc. in 80´s and future stars like Psicosis, Ultraman 2000 (Damián 666) and of course Rey Misterio Jr. when he starting wrestle like Colibrí in 90´s.

During the late 1980s and early 1990s and was also featured on American television via the Fox Sports en Español channel (before named Prime Ticket in South California). A lot from that footage, later was released like WWO brand in VHS.

Although inactive during the late 1990s, during which time much of its roster had left to compete in World Championship Wrestling and international promotions, the World Wrestling Association resumed operations in 2004.

WWA also seemed to have relations with the South California promotion EWF, who had some of their wrestlers work WWA shows like Raging Dawg, Jesse Hernandez, Kyra,Vizzion, and others.
