Year End Awards

At the end of every year the major magazines in Mexico release their official awards. The awards used to be quite a big deal but over the years their significance has dwindled. The awards used to cover all promotions under one banner but in the mid-80's some magazines began to hand out seperate awards to each promotion as to stay politically correct.

Other awards are often handed out by "Dr. Lucha" Stephen Sims, a noted Lucha Libre historian as well as: The Cubs Fan's CMLL blog
