Biography

Born in Mexico City, but resides in Cuernavaca, Morelos. On August 2009, Canelo Casas told estrellasdelring he was being trained by Hijo del Santo and was the nephew of Heavy Metal (the original Canelo Casas.) There's been no conflicting information, but his cousins Tiger and Puma King previously misled people about their father, so it's possible Canelo could be doing the same.

There's also some confusion about his stint as Bengala. Someone named Bengala was seen on CMLL staffed shows around Mexico State (mostly Neza) in 2007 to 2009. The luchador formerly known as Sombra de Plata was definitely the man under the mask when the character debuted in Arena Mexico itself. Canelo Casas has said both he wrestled as Bengala once and also that he never wrestled as Bengala, though it is thought he may have been the Bengala during that time.

Occasionally turns up on CMLL spot shows. Appeared in the opening battle royal on the Arkangel 25th anniversary show, so he must be in his class now. Appeared for CMLL in Arena Puebla and Arena Coliseo Guadalajara briefly in spring 2013, but hasn't turned up again since. Probably will return again later.
