A native of Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, began as a promoter of wrestling in Hermosillo, Sonora in the year 1998, founded "Soto Ramirez Promotions company", promoting wrestling and professional boxing functions.

In 2009, he moved to Mexico City and formed [[EAW], which promotes shows based around it's two level ring. Soto says he owns the patent on the concept.
