RXLL
In 2006, Vampiro joined promoter Pepe Villa in starting a new Guadalajara based promotion called Revolucion Xtreme Lucha Libre (RXLL). The promotion's style was similar to that of US based promotions XPW & WSX and several behind both involved in management roles. They had struck a TV deal with Televisa to air in the Guadalajara market and taped their first event on September 2, 2006 with a main event of Vampiro vs. Sean Waltman. The taping turned out to be a disaster with the gate being way below what was predicted and both talent and management members weren't payed or only partially what was agreed upon. Vampiro also clashed with the production team over the poor quality and editing of the taping when it aired on Televisa. Despite the problems Vampiro moved forward including negotiating with several international promotions and striking a TV deal with Japan based Samurai TV. The second taping took place on October 1, 2006. Most of the bigger name foreign talent were pulled prior to the taping and the card was completely shuffled to feature mostly local talent with a main event of Vampiro vs. Nosawa. Most of talent were payed but the US based management wasn't and Vampiro would finally part ways with Villa. Villa ran a couple shows under the name LLX using Rey Misterio Sr. as booker and top draw before being dropped by Televisa. Vampiro claimed he would continue running RXLL with Televisa backing, but nothing came of it and he would begin working CMLL shows at Arena Coliseo Guadalajara within a few months.
