In 2012, AAA introduced an Octagón protege, billed to as Octagón Jr. (who actually hasn't real relationship with him) in order to brought in someone to continue his wrestling legacy. Chicago-based wrestler Samuray Del Sol was chosed to get the gimmick. However, he was signed by WWE soon later and the gimmick was abandoned.

1st Version - Samuray Del Sol: Used the gimmick from 2012 to 2013.
2nd Version - Flamita: Used the gimmick in 2016.
3rd Version - Golden Magic: Took the gimmick in 2019.
