Arena Gladiador Trios Tournament, 2016
Tournament held from June 19 to July 3, 2016 in Arena Gladiador out of Matamoros, Tamaulipas in order to fill the vacant Arena Gladiador Trios Championship. Former champions Revolution Clowns (Crazy Clown, Maniac Clown & Mega Clown) were stripped from the belts on June 15, 2016 due to lack of defenses. Los Gordos Del Mal (Espía Jr., Espíritu Maligno & Rey Supremo) were crowned as champions by defeating Dinastía Azteca (Guerrero Azteca, Príncipe Azteca & Príncipe Guerrero), and the team of Karateka Jr., Pánico & Star Kid in a Three Way Tournament Final Match. Dinastía Sombra (Hijo de la Sombra, La Sombra & Sombra Jr.) were announced to take part in the match, but they missed the show by unclear reasons.
