Nicknamed "Chicanita" by [[Rene Guajardo]] and [[Karloff Lagarde]] due to his resemblance with [[Sangre Chicana]].   
He was thinking on changing his ring name, because sooner or later he would not be a chamaco (boy) for life.  He was looking for something more appropiate.  One day he asked advise from [[Ray Mendoza]] who sugggested the name of Ray Richard.  Nicknamed "Chicanita" by [[Rene Guajardo]] and [[Karloff Lagarde]] due to his resemblance with [[Sangre Chicana]].
