Other Notes

Triplemania III-A did not have the big marquee match people were expecting but in the end the crowd did get to see two men unmasked by the end of the night.

The first unmasked came after a Relevos Incriebles Suicidas match between Super Calo, Winners, Angel Mortal & Marabunta. The two teams had been feuding on-and-off for quite a while and a few weeks before the show they signed contracts for a series of matches at every Triplemania in 1995 so that by the end only one man would be left with his mask. Winners and Marabunta won the tag team portion of the match so they kept their masks tonight but would be having a mask match at Triplemania II-B. Then Super Calo beat Angel Mortal clean in a one-fall match to unmask him as Juan Manuel de la Rosa.

The second unmasking occured in the first ever cage match involving mini's. 12 men took part in the match: Fuercita Guerrera, Torerito, Mini Calo, Payasito Rojo, Mascarita Sagrada, Octagoncito, Ninjita, Jerrito Estrada, La Parkita, Payasito Azul, Super Munequito & Espectrito II. Espectrito I was supposed to be in the match as well but they made him leave the cage before the match began as he had lost his hair to Octagoncito only 10 days beforehand. The match came down to Super Munequito and Payasito Rojo with the tecnico managing to escape first. Payasito Rojo unmasked and was immediatly identified as the ex-Piratita Morgan.

The rest of the show was completely uneventful.

TripleMania III (B)

Other Notes

Triplemania II-B had the second stage of three in the feud between Super Calo, Winners, Angel Mortal & Marabunta. After retaining their masks at Triplemania II-A, Winners and Marabunta had a bloody mask match ending with the second Diabolico member to get unmasked within days.

Another major match saw a tag team revenge match two years in the making as all the main eventers from the first Triplemania were in one match as Cien Caras and Mascara Ano 2000 defeated Konnan and Perro Aguayo.

Perro Aguayo Jr. made his AAA debut on the undercard doing a special one fall exhibition match against Juventud Guerrera which ended with both Perro Aguayo and Fuerza Guerrera getting involved. This was just designed to introduce Perro Jr. to the AAA audience for the first time.

Other notables from the event included the first ever mini's relevos atomicos match and the Gemas Del Ring making their first appearence after being unmasked in April and immediatly setting up a triple hair vs hair rematch for a month later in Torreon.
