Profile
Notes
Stuka Jr. is currently a upper midcard tecnico in CMLL, one of CMLL's young rising stars.
Even though he's called Stuka "Jr.", this wrestler is actually the brother of the original Stuka. There is a significant age different between the two. Stuka Jr. was born and originally trained in the Laguna area, and was the start of a wave of talent to come from the area to CMLL.
Stuka Jr. started with CMLL in April of 2005, earning a place in the second/third matches. His first major feud was in 2006, when he defeated long time CMLL undercard rudo Flecha for his mask. A year later, Stuka repeated the feat, this time defeating long tiem CMLL undercard rudo Jeque. The first apuesta win sprung Stuka from the ranks of anonymity, and the second started his involvement in more important matches. He participated in the 2007 Gran Alternativa, teaming with Negro Casas but losing in the first round. Stuka also became a regular fixture in Reyes del Aires style ciberneticos.
When CMLL brought back the Arena Coliseo Tag Team Championship in 2008, Stuka Jr. and occasional partner Flash won the 16 team tournament, slightly upsetting the Infernales duo of Nosferatu & Euforia. The title match kicked off a long term rivalry between the two teams, who seemed to face off as much as any random midcard combination. Stuka & Flash (later known as Fuego) defeated the rudos in a rematch, and may have defended the titles again on smaller shows over the next year.
At the start of 2010, CMLL held another tournament for vacant team titles. This time, it was the Mexican National Trios Championship, and a 8 team tournament. Once again, Stuka's team - this time with Metro & Mascara Dorada - advanced all the way thru to win the championship. The outcome was a bigger upset; they defeated a Poder Mexica team that had previously held the titles (in another combination), and the tecnico trio had never actually teamed before entering the tournament.
Stuka is a high flying tecnico, known as much for his memorable dives as anything. He shows off both a top rope moonsault to the floor, and a blinding reverse tope with a slight twist. Inside the ring, Stuka often wins with his top rope splash, with both arms at his side, falling out of the air as if a bomb dropped from an aircraft. He's a skilled wrestler. There have been other of his age CMLL has seemed to push stronger, but Stuka seems to get taken care of with at least one major event every year.
